When do we process your personal information?
We predominantly process information about you in the following cases:
- You have sent us an inquiry
- You have signed up for an event or requested information
- You subscribe to our newsletter
- You have applied for a job with us
- You visited our website www.marketwell.no or downloaded our app
We may also receive information about you from others in the following cases:
- Your employer has registered you as a user
- A job applicant has provided you as a reference
Marketwell operates all our systems ourselves, but in some cases we also use external consultants / suppliers. All our suppliers are obliged to work from Norway, and in cases where data is moved out of our own servers, this will take place within the framework described in the Personal Data Act (GDPR).
Statistics from the website
Marketwell uses logs from our web server to generate statistics on visits to our websites. These statistics allow us to improve the information on our website. The information contains which page you have visited, whether you have used our chat, date and time of visit as well as technical information about your device. Our web server deletes the IP addresses of all visitors immediately. It will not be possible for us to identify you from the remaining information, and the statistics are therefore anonymous. This means that the information cannot be linked to you as an individual.
Marketwell has concluded that we have a valid basis for processing such anonymous statistics under the Personal Data Act Art 6, no. 1 letter f. We believe that such statistics are necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest which is to improve and further develop the information on our websites.
Chat and Feedback
At the bottom of the website www.marketwell.no you will find a function where you can chat with us and give feedback if you have questions or wish to provide feedback.
Marketwell has concluded that we have a valid reason for processing such dialogue through chat and feedback under the Personal Data Act Art 6, no. 1 letter f. We believe that such statistics are necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest which is to improve and further develop the information on our websites.
Marketwell sends out e-mail marketing newsletters to those who want them and have given their consent for us to do so.
In order for us to send you email marketing newsletters, you must register an email address. By signing up, you agree to our processing of information about you. The e-mail address is stored in a separate CRM database, is not shared with others and is deleted when you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Marketwell has concluded that we have a valid reason for processing your e-mail address in connection with our newsletter under the Personal Data Act Art 6, no. 1 letter a, consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
If you are applying for a job with us, Marketwell needs to process information about you in order to assess your application. The hiring process involves processing the information you voluntarily send us, such as CVs, diplomas and certificates. In addition to any interviews, we may also ask to contact the references you provided.
Marketwell has concluded that we have a valid reason for assessing submitted documentation, conducting interviews and making references. According to the Personal Data Act Art 6 no. 1 letter b. Processing is necessary to carry out assessments at the jobseeker’s request.
Our services shall not be used by children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. In cases where we discover that a child under the age of 16 has given us personal information, we will delete this immediately from all of our servers and systems. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.
We value the trust you place in us by providing your personal information. At Marketwell, we therefore strive to use secure technology and have internal processes and control functions that put your safety first.
